Isaac Turns 4!!

Isaac had is 4th birthday this December.   He is growing so fast that he is skinny and lanky.  He is still our class clown.   Isaac keeps us laughing all the time.   He is always dancing, running, laughing and making silly jokes.  One of these days I am going to get a bunch of his many different expressions and post them together.

He didn't quite get the candles out in one breath but he sure tried.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Atkin's house for Isaac's Birthday.  This is Grandma playing Toy Story Yatzee with the kids.

Thanksgiving with the Thurmans

Brents family all came up to our home this year for Thanksgiving - it was a lot of fun to have everyone over.  Michelle, Christen and Sacora stayed at our house and the rest of the family stayed at the Condo.  It was a little bit of a shocker for me when everyone got here, two dogs burst into the house.  One being a black lab and my first thought was that a dirty farm dog just got into our house, but they were Paul's two dogs which were actually very nice and clean, but I about had a heart attack at first.  Everyone got a good laugh at the look on my face when the dogs ran in.   Michelle said it was like watching a movie!

Of course Sacora and Christen had to get their horse ride ride in. :-)
The boys all went bird hunting at a pheasant farm in Lehi.   Brent took Track and Daniel ran his dog Maggie.  They had alot of fun

The day after Thanksgiving we bought a tree and stayed up until Midnight decorating the house for Christmas!

Family visit

Jessica loves her big girl cousin and Sacora is so sweet to her.
Sacora Loves to ride the horse.  Michelle has come up to stay with us three times this year and each time they come up I think the first thing Sacora asks is if she can ride Hone Pie while they are here!   She is getting really good at it.  The last time she was here I was sitting on the fence and watching her ride all by her self.

Ron loves to hit the Uintas each sumer.   We took Track up with us this time.  He is a very sweet, mellow dog.    The kids had a blast playing in the river and riding quads with their cousins.

Family Pictures

Erin took our family pictures this year. I am working on putting them throughout my blog. She did a great job!  I highly recomend her.  Check them out! Thanks Erin!!

Halloween 2010

We waited to carve our pumpkins until halloween day this year. It was lot of fun. I think that I will wait from now on. It made it feel more like a halloween activity. Brayden was the Grim Reaper, Isaac was a pirate, Jessica was a witch but she didn't want to be painted, and Brooklyn was Tigger. I have them all be Tigger at this age. I went to help in Braydens class for their Halloween Party. He has a really neat teacher. Her name is Mrs. Newton. Brayden is the kid in the black hood. They couldn't wear masks or paint to school.

At Home

Isaac got his first black eye this year. Brayden was riding his bike and jumped off and sent it down the hill by itself. Isaac was at the bottom of the hill. The handle bar hit him right in the eye. It damage the tissue unnder the eye and he has a lump there now. This is about a week or two after it happened. I wish I would have gotten a picture right after, it was swollen huge.Brooklyn is growing so fast. I cant belive how much she has changed in under 16 months. She is walking and climbing and starting to talk. She loves to slide down the slide, climb up stairs and play on the rocking horse.

We have loved using the fire pit out on the deck, up until it got to cold. We roasted Marshmallows and made smores for family night quite of few times. The kids are getting old enough to do more and more fun things with them.  Which I love and hate at the same time.   It is so fun to watch them grow and learn to do things but they are just gowing so fast.

Fairs, Carnivals, and Festivals

We have a cute little Festival at a neighbors house here every year. They have train rides, tractor rides, budgie jumping, pony rides, hay maze, a petting zoo and bunch of stands and other things. The kids love it. This is the first year that they did the budgie jumping, Jessica and Brayden loved it and did it a couple of times. I did it one time and it was a lot of fun but Brent made fun of me because I would scream when I did a flip.

This is at the School Carnival at Taylor Elementary. We went with our friends, the Hardy's. The kids are all such good friends so they had a blast. This picture is Isaac and his friend Cannon.
Jack, Jessica and Brayden where jumping on the tunnels pretending they where riding a wild animal. They were really cute.

We went for a horse ride up Payson Canyon with some friends. It was a lot of fun. It is a beautiful canyon.

Payson Lake with the Palmers

Erin and Daniel invited us to Payson lakes to try out there home made canoes. It was a lot of fun. They had smaller ones that the kids could paddle by themselves. Brayden and Jessica were able to paddle around by themselves and they got great at steering them. Isaac was even able to paddle but he couldn't control where he was going. Erin was really sweet and sat on the beach watching Brooklyn and Kylie and taking pictures, so that I could play with everyone else.

Isaac was so excited to go fishing. Daniel took him out, when they brought in the first fish Daniel said that Isaac freaked out so much that he almost went over bored. They caught a bunch of fish. The kids even got to use their little polls and caught quite a few. It was a great day out.
Brooklyn was so good to just sit and watch.
Man I have cute kids! They are so cute when they are happy!

The kids collect and huge pile of moss. The would stack it up on their canoes and take it into shore.

Brent took Chase with us and let him practice retrieving in the lake. Chase loves the water. He runs and jumps into it and then lands in a belly flop!
