The End of 2009

Well another year has come to and end. 2009 brought alot of changes for our family. We moved to a new home in February, moved to a new office in May, had a new baby in June and Brent's employees at the office have changed a bit. Julie and Sy addopted a baby so she is doing the mom thing now, congrats! We have had a busy and sometimes stressful year but all in all we feel extremly blessed. We have a wonderful family and some great friends. We are looking forward to another great year in 2010.

Christmas 2009

We took the kids to the mall to see Santa. Isaac was terrified of Santa he didn't even want to sit in the Rocking horse next to Santa. We would tell him that Santa was coming to our house to leave presents. His answer was always, "I dont want Santa to come, we already have enough presents."

Grandma and Grandpa have a Christmas Eve Party each year at their house. Before we open presents or do the piniata we do a little Nativity play with the kids. My kids really look for ward to doing the nativity. Jessica was Mary this year and Boo Boo aka Aubrianne, wanted to be the donkey. Brayden was a wise man and Isaac was the Sheep. He looked so funny with his little sheep hat but he loved it and didn't want to take it off. All the kids had a part in it.

Isaac was the only one in our family that got to hit the piniata. Lilly hit it after him and it broke. It didn't work out really well this year but the kids didn't seem to mind. Once the candy fell they all forgot about hitting the piniata.

We had a great Christmas Morning. Having kids at Christmas makes it ten times more fun. We got Brayden a Bow and Arrows which he thought was just awsome. Santa got him his own pocket knife. He was thrilled. Jessica got some baby ponies that she loves to mother. Isaac had a Thomas the Train, Einstein and Lightning Macqueen theme. He got some Lighting slipers that he loves and a Rocket bath toy. I was by far the most spoiled, naughty Brent. He over does it every year. Good Man!!

Brooklyn is growing so fast. She is just a sweet baby. She is always moving and kitting her feet. She is just starting to skoot around the room. She also gets up on her hands and knees but she isn't crawling yet.

Jessica's 5th Birday!

Wow!! Jessica is 5 years old now. That means I have a 7 month old, a 3 year old, a 5 year old and an 6 almost 7 year old. I am feeling old. Jessica really wanted new skates for her Birthday so that is what Grandma Atkin gave her. She loves them. Brent and I got her a new big princess bike. She likes to ride down in the basement while the weather is cold. For her birthday we went out to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa and went to watch the movie the, "Princes and the Frog." We are only doing parties every other year, it is our off year this year so we didn't have brithday parties we are just doing something fun with the family and Grandparents. Grandma and Papa Thurman weren't up but they later gave her a doll and horse she loves to play with.

Jessica's Special day at School.

It was Jessica's Special day at school because her birthday was that week. Isaac loves to go and stay for her special day. It was the last week before Christmas so they made ginger bread house's. They had alot of fun. Isaac got to join in and he thought that was just great. He cant wait to go to Preschool but we aren't sure what we are going to do because this is the last year that Miss Jill is teaching school. She has decided that she needs to stay home with her son.

Isaac turns 3!!!!!

Isaac loves Little Einstien's so Grandma Atkin got him a Einstien Rocket for his Birthday. He loves it. He is so active so it is the best cartoon for him. He sings and dances everything. He is still running all the time, but I was telling Brent the other day, that of all the kids, Isaac is almost always the first one to do what he is told.

Christmas Tree Hunting!

We go Christmas Tree Hunting every year as a family on the day after Thanksgiving. It was a little windy and chilly but we had alot of fun. We got a little tree to put up stairs for the kids, but for our tree in the living room we cheated and bought at a tree at the tree lot.

Brent and Daniel brought their English Pointers up with us. Daniel and Erin have a bird launcher they brought to train the dogs. Our Puppy's name is Tracker and Daniel and Erin's is Maggie. They are brother and sister.

Cookie, Hot Chocolate and a camp fire. What more could a 2 year old boy ask for.

Isaac was being very camera shy. He refused to look at the camera. This is the kids little tree for up stairs.

I think the kids favorite part about the whole trip was looking for wood to put on the fire.

Isaac at it again!!!!!

We walked back in the mud room bathroom and Isaac was on the tiolet reaching for the TP with his pants around his ankles. I am sure he'll appreciate these pictures one day.
