Brooklyn Summer Thurman

Brooklyn was born at 9:44am on Sunday June 21st 2009, Fathers Day and the first day of summer. She was 18 inches long and weighed 7 pounds and is absolutely perfect. Jessica is so happy to have a baby sister. When they came to see me in the hospital the first thing she said was, "Mommy, Heavenly Father answered my prayers, I have a sister."

Curly Sue

Jessica's new thing right now is curly hair. She loves to have her hair put in curlers after her Satureday bath so that she can go to church with curly hair. She loves look cute and have her hair pretty. She is my girlie girl.

I love fat pictures! I am just about a month away from popping. We decided not to find out what we are having with this one, which is killing me at times! I would really like to have another girl. I love my boys, but they have more energy than Brent and I put together. Jessica told me the other day that she wanted a sister and that she couldn't love any more brothers. I told her that It wasn't up to me what the baby is. I told her that was up to Heavenly Father. She said that she was going to Pray that it is a Girl. I told her that was fine but that sometimes Heavenly Father says no because he knows what is best. Two days later she came up to me and said mommy I know it is a girl because Heavenly Father knows that is what is best for me. Hopefully she isn't disappointed!!

City Boy Turned Farmer

Who would have thought that Brent would one day be farming land and sporting a staw cowboy hat. He loves it, and wishes he had more time to spend out doors.

Moab 2009

We had a blast in Moab!!! The kids loved the hikes and climbing all the rocks to the arches. We thought that Isaac would get tired so we took a baby back pack to carry him but he didn't ride in it at all. In fact I think that he could have out done all of us. We had a friend that let us use their condo down there to stay in. It was very comfortible and relaxing. I found out that we took over 200 pictures and video of this trip so there is alot on here but it was all very cool.

This is the street in front of the condo. Right after we got back from hiking on Satureday at about 4:30 the rain started coming down in sheets. There was lighting and thunder like crazy and the road turned into a river. The condo right next to us was the bottom of the hill and was flooded in a foot of water. There where cars pushed down the roads and things just covered in water and mud. We were all safe though and for us it was very neat to watch. The weather was perfect during the day though. It was warm enough for shorts but cool enough to hike all over without getting hot.

After everything Isaac just couldn't make it any longer. I had to put this picture on because he always puts his arms behind his head when he rides in the car.

Brayden got a new tool set for his birthday from Grandma and Grandpa Atkin so we took an old desk and turned it into his work bench. He loves to spend time out there. Him and Jessica can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies and it is usually Brayden that sets the tone. When he plays with Jessica and is nice to her they have alot of

Spring has Sprung!!!

This spring has been so nice. We dont have a yard this year but the kids have found lots to do in the field. I bought bug nets at Maceys and the kids love to catch bugs for the Lizard.

Jessica has become much braver when it comes to bugs. She is washing her hand off here because she was holding a worm, and she is getting so she will bring me daddy long legs and lady bugs. If you know Jessica at all you know that this is a big deal for her. Not that long ago she woke up with a terrible night mare and when I asked what her dream was about she said that dreamed that Brayden put a lady bug in her bed......A LADY BUG.

Brent bought the kids kites this spring. Braydens is a dragon, Jessica's is a disney princess kite and Isaac has an airplane kite.
