Due to the CONTINUED insistance of my good friend, Mrs. Heather Vest. I am posting pictures of the new house. We are really excited. If you were to ask me what my favorit part of the house is I would have to say the kitchen. It is so nice to have enough space for everything. I also love having a pantry, so that I no longer have to get food out of the garage. We have a big year for 09. For those of you whom dont know, we will be having another baby in about four months. I am really hoping for a girl but I know that what ever we have we will be thrilled. Brent has insisted that we wait to find out what we are having this time and I have given in, so you will all have to wait to find out, but Grandma predicts it is a girl and we all know that Grandma's are never wrong. Jessica also says that it is a girl and she just knows it is because she doesn't have a sister yet, but she already has two brother. Brayden and Jessica are both really excited and full of questions. We are excited for the upcoming year. We are also moving the office to a new location in Brighams Landing. So busy year, new house, new baby, new office location. It is all alot of work but we feel really blessed.

Disneyland 08

Disneyland was a blast. I think that my only regret was taking Brayden and Jessica on the tower of terror. I think that we completely ruined them. I had no idea it would be so scary. They both handled it really well but after we got out they didn't want to ride any rides and I went to put Jessica on my shoulders and she completely freaked out. Everyone around us was giving me dirty looks. It took some time to get them to do anything else. After that we stuck to the smaller things that where less terrifying.

Fairy's, Princess's and castles.

Jessica wanted more than anything to see Ariel. But afterwards I asked her what she thought and she said that Ariel was wearing the wrong dress. She was suposse to have a pink dress. Then she told me that she must have borrowed Cinderellas dress. Cinderella was alot of fun. She played ring a round the rosie with the girls.

I think that this was the highlight for Jessy. She loved meeting the fairies. This was the last day of our trip and I think it was my kids favorit day. We didn't have any pictures at the beach bu we also went there on the same day as the zoo. I would say that was also on the top of the list. Braydena and Brent where catching hermit crabs. I dont know why I didn't have my camera that day.

Day 4, Disneyland

Grandpa and Grandma where really great for all of us. I think that this vacation was more of a giant babysitting job for them. They watched the kids so the rest of the adults could ride, rides and so that we could go out in the evening/night.

Jessica was the perfect age for Disneyland. She loved all the characters most of all the princeses.

Day 3, San Diego Wild Animal Park

This is the face we get when we know that we are about to be asked a million questions. On day 3 Brayden wanted to be a Zoo keeper. He asks questions about everything right now. He wants to know how everything works. Brent got tired walking around the Zoo so Grandma pushed him and Jessica up the hill. He is quite pampered.

We almost had the whole clan here. Isaac was the only Grandkid missing, he was sleeping in the stroller. Once Aubree Angie and myself have our babies this summer mom and dad will have 14 grandkids 7 and younger.

I was completely shocked when Jessica willingly held the snake. She will usually not touch anything that crawls or creeps.

Day 2, Sea World

Sea World was day 2 of the vacation. Brayden really liked the whales and decided, at least for the day, that he wanted to be a whale trainer when he grew up. I think that one of the things they like the most was holding the star fish, and feeding the rays.

Day One of the Atkin Family Vacation, Lego Land

We arrived in Califonia on Sunday January 18 and just kind of hung out and relaxed. On Monday we went to Lego Land. I thought that we had a picture of everyone together at the entrance but I couldn't find one. It was a fun first day of vacation.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Our Christmas picture's are lacking somewhat. I have a memory card somewhere that goes to our big camera but when I went to get it out to down load the pictures it wasn't there. I am hopping that it turns up soon but for now this is what we have. We had a really great Christmas. The kids are getting at such a fun age. Grandma and Grandpa Atkin had a Christmas Eve party and we started it with a very yummy dinner and then all the grand kids dressed up as a part from the nativity. Then to a very simple primary song they walked out when it was there turn and took their place in the nativity. It was very cute. Then we had a piniata that was shaped as Mickey Mouse. Auntie Aubree made it. She went with Mickey Mouse because for Christmas Grandma and Grandpa got everyone a trip to San Diego and Anaheim with a southern California City passes. It was a really fun party. Christmas morning was Great. The kids where so excited. Jessica got her first real two wheel bike, Isaac got a three wheel bike and Brayden got a scooter that he has been begging for. They where all very excited. Brayden was really sweet this year. All December he kept reminding us that the presents weren't important but that it was all about Jesus' birthday.

Isaac's terrible two

We just had a little family birthday for Isaac, with Grandma and Grandpa Atkin. He received Cars and more cars. He loves anything that has wheels. He has defanietly hit his terrible two's. If he can climb on it he will. If he can eat it or tear it apart then it isn't safe. He also loves to build with blocks and I think that his favorit pass time is to see how mad he can make his big sister. I have no idea where all of his energy comes from. He is usually the first kids awake in the morning and the last to go to sleep at night. He wants to do everything himself including dressing himself and changing his underwear and clothing multiple times per day. I dont think he walks anywhere. He is always running, skipping, galloping, and on occasions walking backwards. I have found that if I dont know where he is I have to find out quick because it usually means he is into something that he is not supose to be into. But even though he has more energy than the rest of us put together he is alot of fun. He is the class clown and keeps us laughing.

Princes Jessica turn's 4

We decided to have a princes birthday for Jessica's 4th birthday. She is at just the right stage for princes. She loves the disney princess, expecially Arial and princess Aurora. She was dressed as princess Aurora because she thinks that is whom she looks most like. It was alot of fun but a huge amount of work. I think it might be a while before mom is up for another big party.
