Payson Lake with the Palmers

Erin and Daniel invited us to Payson lakes to try out there home made canoes. It was a lot of fun. They had smaller ones that the kids could paddle by themselves. Brayden and Jessica were able to paddle around by themselves and they got great at steering them. Isaac was even able to paddle but he couldn't control where he was going. Erin was really sweet and sat on the beach watching Brooklyn and Kylie and taking pictures, so that I could play with everyone else.


Isaac was so excited to go fishing. Daniel took him out, when they brought in the first fish Daniel said that Isaac freaked out so much that he almost went over bored. They caught a bunch of fish. The kids even got to use their little polls and caught quite a few. It was a great day out.

The kids collect and huge pile of moss. The would stack it up on their canoes and take it into shore.

Brent took Chase with us and let him practice retrieving in the lake. Chase loves the water. He runs and jumps into it and then lands in a belly flop!

Brooklyn loves books

Brooklyn loves to pull all the books off the shelf. Or push them off. I walked in and she was sitting with a pile of them and decided I would take a picture of it. Maybe she will be a big reader.

One with Cake!

Brooklyn is about 15 months old now. She was enjoying the cake batter that mom was making! She is growing so fast. She is now wearing 2 year old clothes. She is also a daddies girl. When ever she see's him she yells, Daaaadddy with a big cheesy grin. She finally started walking last week and didn't start with a few steps either. She wouldn't walk between Brent and I, and wouldn't take a step without your hand. Then on Thursday I was babysitting for Ben and Angie and the kids were all upstairs so I went up to watch Andie and Brooklyn. They were both standing next to the couch when all of a sudden Brookly let go of the couch and walked into the toy room and over to the rocking horse. I yelled down to Brent that she just walked and he got the camcorder. I took her back to the bathroom up stairs and she walked to the toy room again. No baby steps for her she just takes off.

Cheer Camp

We have a neighbor girl, Kaylynn, that is on the Salem High Cheer Team and she asked if Jessica wanted to do their cheer camp this year. It was a week long and they got to do a little show for parents and then ride in the parade. She had alot of fun. She liked being in the parade. It was really cute. The girls were great with the kids. This was at the parade that Jessica rode in. I just thought the pink tractor was cool. That is the tractor that I want. Brent would look really good mowing the field in it. ;-)
