Brooklyn's in a Big Bed!

 Jess and Brook got a new bed at the beginning of the month.   Brook is loving being in  a big girl bed.   We found a guy that makes beds and other furnitrue in Nephi.   He did a great job.  The bunk has stairs in the side with a built in dresser.   Jessica likes being up high and Brook is doing really well being in a bed.   They were dressed in their matching PJ's that they got for Christmas and playing so cute I had to take some pics!

Kids say the Darndest!!

I dont remember why but Jessica got into trouble and sent to her room.   Which really doesnt happen very often but when it does she is really funny.   I went into talk to her when her time was up.   Usually she will tell me that while she was laying in bed she was thinking that her mom and dad dont love her.   I always reasure her that that isnt true and we will always lover her.   Well this most resent time I went into talk to her and she said,  "Mommy when you got mad at me I was thinking,  That isnt my real mom it is a WOLF."   I had the hardest time not bursting out laughing.   I knew that would hurt her feelings so I informed her with a straight face that, I was her mother and that I loved her very much!



Isaac now.   This is not for the weak stomac.   Isaac was sick and throwing up at the beginning of the month.  I know great beginning to the new year.   Well he woke up in the middle of the night and came into my room and said, "mommy I threw up in my bed blaaaaaaa."   Then he threw up on my floor.   Well I headed into the room to clean the bed up while Brent cleaned Isaac and our room floor up.  While he was scrubbing the floor Isaac ask Brent what was on his finger.   Brent told him that it was throw up.   Isaac proceded to look closer and said, "  Daddy its a little pickle, I made little pickles."   Then he LICKED IT and almost ate it!   aahahah   Brent quickly stopped him and told him it would make him sick.    Then about 15 min after we got everything cleaned up, changed, and Isaac back in bed, he threw up in his bed AGAIN.   I got up and stripped everything off and took it to the bathroom with Isaac and was washing chunks out when Isaac said,  "Mommy those are little pickles I made, but dont eat them because they will make you sick."    Oh I love my kids!

The end of another Great Year!!

We had a great year in 2010.  Nothing to big happened this year, just continued to grow.   My mom got ran over by a cow this year but other than that my family (Amanda) is doing great.   Brents family are all doing well.   Brents parents became great Grandparents this year and Becky and Jason anounced that they will be having a baby next year.  Yay.  We are still out in West Mountain were we will probably stay.  Our little farm is still doing well but next year I am demanding Grass ;-)  We didn't add to many animals this year.  One more horse and some chickens a bunny and a couple of cats.   Crazy I know!  I feel grateful to my Father in Heaven for how blessed I am.   I love my good husband and sweat kids.  I wouldnt trade being their mother and wife for anything.   We are looking forward to another great year in 2011!!

Christmas Morning!!

 This was not Christmas morning but I stuck them in with the other pics.  This was at our ward Christmas party.   I dont have one of Isaac or Brooklyn because they were terrified of Santa.  In fact Isaac wouldn't even go on the same room with Santa.  I left Isaac outside of the room with a neighbor!

 We had a really great Christmas this year.  It is was a good way to end the year.   We decided to buy one big gift for the girls and one big gift for the boys this year.   The girls got the new doll house which they both loved.  Brooklyn plays with it all the time.  When it was opend Brook started playing with it and didn't care about anything else.  I was so excited that she loved it as much as she did.   The boys got a new 4 wheeler for Christmas.  IT is a 50 CC real 4 wheeler.  They were so excited.   Unfortanitly it wasnt working Christmas morning.  That was a bit of a bummer but they still had a good time.  We have to replace the battery.   JOY!   Brayden got a red rider BeeBee gun from santa.  Isaac got a buzz light year.  Jessica and Brooklyn got matching babies from Santa.  It was a ton of fun to watch them!

 Jessic set her dolls up on the play house and wanted to take a family picture of them.  She is so cute!

Christmas Eve Party!!

 My Parents have a big Christmas Eve Party every year.   It use to be a tradition of my Grandparents and my mom has continued it.   We start with a big meal.  Then this year since our pinata was a donkey named small one, my sister Aubree made it,  we watched small one.    Then each year the kids dress up and do a play of the nativity.  I read the play this year while the kids walked in a que.  Brayden was the donkey and Jessica and Isaac were the wisemen.   It was really cute.   After that we break the pinata.  Youngest to oldest.  Aubree made if tough enough this year that all the wives got to take a hit at it before it finally broke.   It it was alot of fun.   Then we opened gifts.  Mom and dad give everyone a gift and the cousins exchange gifts.   I dont have pics of the gift exchange because we were both busy.

Jessica's 6th Birthday! Crazy!!

 The kids get to have a birthday Party every other year starting with their 6th. (although Jessica got a princess party on her 4th) She had three friends and her bestest cousin Boo Boo, aka: Aubrianne, over.  We took them all to see, "Tangled" the new disney Princess show.   It was really cute.  One of Jessica's best Friends is Jack Hardy the little by on the left.   He was the only boy she invited and he was so cute.  He was acting like such a gentleman all night.  He would open doors and wait for all the girls to go through.   When they went to get a drink at the fountain.  He stood back and Jessica asked if he wanted a drink and he said, "Girls go first"   I think that must come from having no sisters.

 Jessica doesn't like cake so we had pumpkin rolls for her birthday cake.   She blew her candles all out in one blow but she wont tell us her wish!

 Later that night after her party we went to PF Chaings with G & G Thurman and Brent's neices and Jason.  Ron and Julie gave her a Baby Alive.  She was very excited.

 My mom and dad gave Jessica a necklace making kit for her birthday.   She has loved it.   She used up all the stuff before Christmas so Santa put more beads in her stocking.  The kit came with a three drawer organizer.  She puts her sizzors and thread in the top drawer and has her beads color coordinated in the other two drawers.
